40 Babies and a Bomb: The Spectrum of Truth in the Israel-Hamas Discourse
This post is funnier than the title
Look, the 40 beheaded babies story didn’t happen, but that doesn’t matter, okay? It could have happened, and because I believe Hamas is capable of such a thing, it kinda happened, even though it didn’t.
You need to understand that just because something is not true, that doesn’t mean it’s not true. As long as it’s possible, it’s true in theory. If I know bad people are capable of doing something really bad, they’ve pretty much already done that really bad thing, even if they didn’t. They’re capable of it because they’re really bad. And because they’re capable, they’re culpable.
You want proof? What kind of monster needs proof? We’ve already established guilt via plausibility. What - are you some kind of sicko who wants to see videos of babies getting beheaded? What - are you worried the number isn’t exactly 40? Would 39 beheaded babies be okay to you? Maybe two dozen is more your cup of tea? The number doesn’t matter. It’s the possibility that matters. And anybody who needs more proof is complicit in the act.
It’s really just that simple.
And don’t get me started on the “civilian” deaths in Gaza. You can’t trust those numbers because those are Hamas numbers. Hamas doesn’t tell you how many of those “civilians'' are terrorists, so you can’t trust those numbers. Anyways, Hamas uses civilians as human shields and they hide their weapons under hospitals, so any civilian that gets killed is Hamas’ fault. Therefore, the Israeli military isn’t responsible for a single civilian death. Only Hamas is responsible for civilian deaths in Gaza, where civilians aren’t being killed (unless Hamas killed them).
You really are very misinformed and it’s sad. You need to find reliable sources for your information. Let journalists into Gaza? Of course the Israeli government should not let journalists into Gaza because it’s a war zone. Anyways, the Associated Press, Reuters, New York Times, Washington Post, CNN, AFP, NBC, you name it, they’re all just Hamas sympathizers. The only reliable source right now is the Israeli government.
No, I don’t blindly trust governments. I’m not some stupid communist like those idiots in the U.S. protesting the Israeli government and demanding a ceasefire. Those people are the communists - they’re actually questioning their government’s use of extreme military force via constant bombing and air strikes, resulting in the death of thousands of people (no civilians, of course). They're sick people and what the U.S. needs is a law that punishes them for saying these horrendous things. No, I’m not against free speech. I completely support the First Amendment. I just think people shouldn’t say things I don’t like about this thing.
And no, I don’t hate the Palestinians. I just think they should all leave Palestine forever or die - and if Israel kills them, they’re not civilians.
You really should educate yourself on the topic. Check out Ben Shapiro’s podcast!
